After a successful Matcha month,
it is time to move on to our next dessert.
If you did not have time to come in September,
we are keeping the Matcha Spandauer for a little bit longer.
With such grey/rainy weather, we want to offer you something comforting, and we immediately thought "Vanilla".
So here it is again, our Vanilla tart, made with generous Madagascar Vanilla beans (organic ofc).
In order to add an even nicer flavor, we smoked the vanilla beans, and the cream before making the crème anglaise.
Don't worry, it is subtle and adds up to the comfort feel.
Later in August, we were contacted by the London-based media TopJaw as they were about to come shoot their new Amsterdam version of "48h in ... - Where chefs eat" video.
It was such a good surprise that many chefs recommended them to come to grammes while they were in Amsterdam for 2 days.
