Week 1

It all started with a run.
After moving in De Pijp in 2020, I went for a stroll to discover a bit the area. We were mostly spending our time in West before that, so it was the best way to get lost.
I found that corner store, with no company signs, some equipment inside, and it felt like it was meant to be. After a couple of research, we finally got to talk with the previous owners, and just a year ago, January 3rd 2021, we got the keys from Maasstraat 16.

With the precious help of friends, we managed to give the space a new look with what was at hand, and in the meantime, starting to produce in order to not eat up all of our savings.

And boy, looks at us now, one year later, still in lockdown, a couple of tons of flour and butter later, still here, still looking for ways to improve consistency, to implement everyone's breakfast and dinners with desserts.

We are super excited about a couple of things that are coming this year, like the espresso machine, a new counter (for the first half of the year), and hopefully more for the second half of 2022.

To kick off 2022, we will offer a traditional Galette des Rois (king's cake), which is a frangipane cream, inside a flaky puff pastry. available in 4 people and 6 people sizes.

- This week, we will be open :
Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 till 14:00,
Saturday from 9:00 till 16:00
- Pre-order your treats for Saturday is highly 
- Make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot, not earlier. But no worries if you are a bit late.
- Two lines are available : one for Pick-up on Churchill-laan, one for walk-ins on Maasstraat.
