Week 40

As most of you noticed, a massive typo was made in last week's newsletter. We are coming back on October 9th, and not September as it was written. But most of you understood, because we have the best customers.

This newsletter is also being scheduled to be sent at the same time as all the previous ones. While you are reading these lines, we will most likely still be on the plane that is taking us back from Mexico Ciudad. The pop up with La Vitrine was a success.
60 chocolate croissants sold in less than 2 hours.
A customer even came at 11am and asked how many of them we had. He wanted to buy them all, bargaining that it would be in our interest, but we suspected that he would resell them.
It was a great pride to see Sofia's shop open and already busy.
It was also quite funny to talk about how many similarities we both experienced with both our opening : The covid timing, the products we were making before the opening of the store, explaining to some customers why our products are more expensive, or smaller, or not in large quantities...

Some busy days are ahead of us in order to be ready for this Saturday. Our pastry chef Davinia, who stayed in Amsterdam to take care of our B2B orders, also worked on a new product that I am excited to see, taste and hopefully share with you as soon as it is approved. We are also quite excited to come back home and see more familiar faces.

Reminder :
- Pre-order your treats for Saturday 9th is highly
recommended.
- Tomorrow, we will still be
closed.
- Saturday, make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot. No worries if you are a bit late.
- Two lines are available : one for Pick-up on Churchill-laan, one for walk-ins on Maasstraat.
