Week 12

Spring is finally here !

After not really having a really cold winter, we were expecting March to be the coldest. But Spring is here, and it gives such beautiful lights inside the shop. Also it is nice to see people seating outside enjoying their treats and giving direct feedbacks.

This Saturday, we will be closing a bit earlier than the usual.
We are heading to a bakers's convention in Paris (Sirha EuroPain), where we will visit providers, old and new, and look for new inspirations.

Regarding our products, we are back to normal quality ! It is such a relief to arrive at work and already you know that it is going to be a good day just because they are proofed properly. We are still experiencing a bit of struggle with the sourdough brioche, but we already know that the starter needs a bit more strength. Easy fix.

For the pastry of the weekend, you will be able to get another try at the Cappuccino tart. It was such a treat, I had two pieces myself over the weekend. I have noticed some parts of the recipe that could be bettered, so it will be even better
It will still be made using coffee from Uncommon,
beans from Honduras, Los Alpes.

In another news, all the small sizes for merch are gone.

Large and XLarge are still available in all the 3 garments.
We will look into running another batch of Tees, from XS to M.

We are also interested into adding jams from La Chambre Aux Confitures to our shop. We have made a small selection of flavors, but let us know which flavors you would be keen in finding.

- Pre-order your treats for Saturday is highly 
recommended.
- Make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot, not earlier. But no worries if you are a bit late.
- Two lines are available : one for Pick-up on Churchill-laan, one for walk-ins on Maasstraat.
