Week 17

All I remember from last year's Kingsday, is mostly a blur.
We opened a second day per week for just over a month, still figuring things out, and we clearly underestimated the expectations from the customers. As it was our first Kingsday, I thought we were ready : we prepared the same amount of products that we would sell on a Saturday for walk-ins, and a rough estimate of tompouce.
Little did we know, before the opening a line was already created and reached the hairsalon (number 6 of the street).
We ran out of products in an hour, and had to close for a couple of hours in order for more croissants to proof and to prepapre for other things, disapointing many people (including ourselves)

This year, we decided to open the pre-orders for today and tomorrow (you still have until noon to order for tomorrow).
It gives us an insight about how busy it could be tomorow, but we also have nothing to base our estimations on.
We will have some special products on the counter in addition to the Tompouce, but mostly, everything will be in limited quantities, and we will not be able to make more of all the products (op = op)

For this weekend, we will have the the Strawberry tart again.
This time, we will get the Gariguettes strawberries (my favorite), hoping that their season will last (tricky with the recent frost).

To finish, we want to announce that from May, we will open Thursdays as well ! Our opening days will make more sense as we would then be continuously open from Wednesday till Saturday.

Wednesday from 8:00 till 14:00 (or sold out),
Friday from 8:00 till 14:00,
Saturday from 9:00 till 16:00
- Pre-order your treats for Saturday is highly 
- Make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot, not earlier. But no worries if you are a bit late.
- Two lines are available : one for Pick-up on Churchill-laan, one for walk-ins on Maasstraat.
