Week 23

Last week, a new lacquer/varnish has been applied to the most of the window frames and woodden doors of the Maastraat.
As our store is being hit by the sun most of the day, that new layer of protection was much needed. We are not sure if the job is completely done yet, you would probably still need to be careful when you enter the shop or want to sit on the bench (the "NAT" stickers will help)

We are also pleased to see that Thursdays are getting a little bit busier every week. We knew by experience that it would be the slowest day of the week, but it still confirms that it was a good thing to finally offer a 4th opening day. It will take some time (and more staff) to open more, but it is a goal that could be reach in September or January.
So if you know someone (with experience) who would be interested in joining us, FOH and BOH, we are open to applications.

This week, we will offer the cherry tart one more time. It will be mostly the same tastewise, but I will make some small changes in order to get a better ratio Pistachio/Cherry, but also texture ratio.

Lastly, we wanted to let you know that the shop will be closed in July, from the 10th and we will be back on the 27th.

- This week, we are open :
Wed-Thurs-Fri from 8:00 till 14:00,
Saturday from 9:00 till 16:00.
- Pre-order your treats for Saturday is highly recommended.
- Make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot, not earlier. But no worries if you are a bit late.
- Two lines are available : one for Pick-up on Churchill-laan, one for walk-ins on Maasstraat.
