Week 38

Who would have thought ?
Sometimes, it still feels like seems like we just opened, a couple of month ago. The fact that order #5000 was placed this week marks another huge milestone in our journey. It is also a good reminder that the effort and care we put in our products and service is appreciated.
As promised, Nathan got his order refunded.
What should be the next milestone ?

Jan from Clavelin brought us our new wine selection. As usual, you will can choose from 2 red, 2 white, 1 orange and 1 bubble.
We could not say no to another box of Gavinol (gamay) nor our favorite, Zegwur (gewürztraminer). Nawal selected a nice red, "Laisse aller, c'est une valse" (pinot noir, grolleau) from Loire, kind of a mixtape of everything you expect and like of a red.
On the white side, another Alsace,"Riesling sur granit".
We also crossed the border (for once) and picked a German one from Max sein Wein (müller thurgau, sylvaner). So many to choose from.

We've been happy to see more pastries on the chilled side of the counter. This week, it is time to reveal which pastry will be the last member of our pastry range : the Mille-Feuille.
A little bit different than the previous ones we made in the shop so far, it is actually taking the flavors of the ones we made back when we were doing meals from home in 2020. It has a vanilla pastry cream, a nice soft caramel sauce, and is topped with a slightly sour crème Chantilly.

Thank you again for your patience last Wednesday, the shop modifications will be over soon, and we will not have to worry about more random closing days (beside a week vacation before the big holiday season, TBC)

Wed-Thurs-Fri from 8:00 till 14:00,
Saturday from 9:00 till 16:00.
- Pre-order your treats for Saturday is highly recommended.
- Make sure you come at the right time based on your time slot, not earlier. But no worries if you are a bit late.
